Your Medigap policy will not interfere with your prescription drug because your Medigap and Medicare Prescription plan will be two different plans.
When you purchase a Medigap policy or Medicare Supplement (MedSup) Policy, you are still required to purchase an additional Prescription Drug Plan(PDP) plan. A Medigap unlike a Medicare Advantage you have the freedom to visit any doctor in the USA that accepts traditional Medicare. When you decide for a Medigap over a Medicare Advantage (usually HMO), keep in mind that you will have the following monthly payments:

    – Medicare Part B ($ 99.10)
    – Medigap or Medicare Supplement (Start at $ 130 depending on coverage)
    – Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (PDP starts at $ 30 depending on coverage)

Let me know if you have any other question in regards to your medigap
