Measurements must be exact. You’ve got to be able to figure what portion of one ingredient would be correct with another because as you know, many medications really have small amounts of poison. The other thing is that if a patient has more than one disease, you must treat the various symptoms with medications that might have incorrect interactions. Oh by the way, the word is Pharmaceutical. My daughter is a pharmacist and I know the course of study take lots of math.

    At most pharmaceutical plants a degree in chemistry is helpfull, the use of math is used by the physical plant engineer by the mechanical engineer and by the chemical engineer and researcher. In most trials some math and chemistry is always used. If you are looking for a career in this field it will help not hinder you. I hope this has helped answer your question.
