Question by bhattipimpin88: Why would mental therapy and rehabilitation work better than imprisonment?
The question is simple, except I need stats and data. I have googled for an hour and didn’t find much. What states have integrated this technique into there justice system and has it worked? If you are gonna list data, please post the source you got it from. Thanks

Because rehabilitation targets likely factors that lead to criminal behaviour.
