Question by mooki.: When i get my wisdom teeth pulled, do you think i could get the dentist to prescribe marijuana as a painkiller?
I’m getting my wisdom teeth pulled in a few days and i strongly believe that marijuana is the best painkiller. Do you think my dentist would prescribe it to me?

No, they will not prescribe pot for that. its a week long (at the most) recovery, not a chronic disease that causes you constant pain.

What do you think? Answer below!

I don’t think anyone would prescribe marijuana for you as a “painkiller”. This is because it is illegal…

You will need something like Tylenol or aspirin which will easily handle pain. Marijuana is prescribed for chronic pain, especially with nausea. It will not help your dental pain. Never use a sledgehammer when a push pin will do.

You might believe that Marijuana is the best painkiller…you might even believe in the Tooth Fairy! Marijuana is not a painkiller. In fact in many studies it produced hyperalgesia, or MORE pain. Very unlikely a dentist would be dumb enough to prescribe you pot to reduce your pain. But never say never…they might be a pothead themselves. Good luck getting HIGH!
