    Of course the much better film is the one I wasn’t even aware existed!
    Apparently this is an “equel” to the original film, telling the story of
    what would have happened to the couple if their car hadn’t broken down, and
    they went to a “normal”, “sane” place instead! I think this is also one
    example of “Fate” intervening, and creating a much better film than they
    were planning to make.

    Brad Majors is probably the only normal human being in this entire movie.

    Ha, I found the movie on IMDB before the Snob review came out. But then I
    saw it and wanted to see it even more.

    you need an appropriately sized particle accelerator for this, and i think
    it has to be a cyclotron, meaning an acceleration ring, i dont think a
    linear accelerator will do. this is also the commercial application of
    superconducting magnet coils. in these applications, superconducting coils
    are cost-effective, even if you need to cool them to close to absolute zero
    using liquid helium.

    Just put the patient in a cryogenic chamber and he/she shall stop moving.
    Then fire away the particle.
