Another solid post Ryan!!! I agree with you 100% that people should check
out the “cows” scale to better grasp a understanding of where they stand
during the detox/withdrawal period. The more knowledge an addict can
acquire before/ during/ and after can really lay the foundation to a sober
way of life. On a side note people should take advantage of the calm
support web site especially the blog section where there are a vast amounts
of useful information to help people get sober and to stay sober.

I’ve said this before but if your lost and have no one to talk to about
your addiction please reach out to Ryan. I had nobody to talk to and
reached out to Ryan and he replied back to me. I’m battling opiate
addition/ detox cold turkey and this man has taken time to listen to me and
offer help an advise. I reached out to a total stranger whom I never met or
talk to in my life and in return I found a guardian Angel on Earth. If
everyone in your life doubts you or puts you down this man doesn’t judge
and offers his own time and I truly feel in my heart Ryan is a real man and
is not out her to get rich but to help get people there lives back
together. I’m not blowing smoke up his ass I just have a lot of respect for
this man and his honest compassion. He’s been through the hell were going
through right now, Ryan has felt this pain and he wants to help get people
sober. You don’t find too many people in life who want one thing from you
and that’s to live an opiate free life. Since talking to Ryan I have a new
prospective in life about people and for that I thank him. I’ve been going
cold turkey and its a pure hell but his site and knowledge and compassion
has given me a new chance to beat my addiction for good. My thoughts and
prayers go out to all addicts/family members out there, we must continue to
    “fight the good fight”
