Prune juice, and lots of it.

    There’s lots you can do..

As has been suggested up your fluid intake, water prune juice, fruit juices are all good

Up your roughage intake so more fruit , vegetables and try a little bran every day. If you don’t like the taste you can sprinkle a little over porridge or stews

Regular exercise also helps so go for a walk or a jog every day.

Also go as soon as you need. the longer you keep it in the more water will be withdrawn and the harder it will get

    🙂

Flaxseed–can be found in almost any retail grocery store–can be sprinkled on top of practically anything: salads, meatloaf, cottage cheese, cereal, etc. Be careful to just use a little, maybe a teaspoon at first as it is very powerful to the novice. I even put flaxseed in my pumpkin bread & banana bread.
Flaxseed gives your food a nutty flavour. I like it.
Also, of course, there’s prune juice.
But anything bran will help regulate you. A good source of bran is the heavy breads, like the 12 grains & even the whole wheat breads.
Of course if it’s serious, you might have to do the enema. But I wouldn’t try that unless it’s serious. They are very uncomfortable.
But things like grapes & apples help you ‘go’. I think most fruits help regulate the system.
Also, to help stimulate the bowels in the morn, warm beverages–coffee, tea, warm water–will do the trick.
    I hope this helps.
