superb. I am going to say something that shouldnt be said by a die hard
morphine fan like myself. but…. Mark sandman really looks a lot like John
Stewart in this video..(im sorry… Im really sorry.. i said it. i did.

sandman seemed to have a direct connection with film noir, his songs always
seemed like soundtracks to some kind of mysterious cinema

What makes me truly sad is that there will be no more of their amazing
music. What could they have done with another couple albums under their
belts? On the positive side they will never get repetitive and irrelevant.

we got an action packed extravaganza…i got a sweetheart cool, i got the
cash to cover the action….i got the soul for you song is pure uncut
energy….i love it–also can’t believe there was an actual vid for this,
kinda just assumed it was thrown onto the soundtrack as a throw away.
(amazing placement on the soundtrack too right after Tom Waits’ Jockey Full
of Burbon) also why do i keep forgetting that christopher walken was
actually in the movie and not just a guy who looks like him???

Ya, and mob/hitmen films. I mean his songs were in Get Shorty and Grosse
Point Blank. When I hear Morphines music I think of movies with contract
killers and organised crime. I can just imagine their music playing while a
couple mob enforcers are drivig a guy to a baseball bat beatdown in a
    remote cornfield somewhere……..Wierd.
