could I become addicted to vicodin?

Question by 14 🙂: could I become addicted to vicodin?
I’ve been taking vicodin for kidney stones and today I found out that it is an addictive drug. Is it possible for a thirteen year old to become addicted?
my mom is in charge of it and i only take one a day.

You bet your bippy you can.
Take only what the doctor has prescribed, and only for the time recommended.
Age has exactly nothing to do with addiction. If a baby can be born addicted to crack, a 13 year old can get addicted to pain killers.

BTW – the good news about kidney stones (if there is any…) is that they will pass soon. The doctor will not let the condition go on and on because unresolved stones can cause kidney damage.

You sure can. Age doesn’t matter. If you’re mom is giving it to you exactly as the doctor prescribed you’ll be fine though.
